Being a Columbus Maternity Photographer, I offer a luxury maternity experience designed to honor this sacred season of your life.
Whether this baby came after years of waiting, loss, and hope… or arrived as a quiet surprise — your story matters. This season of growing life within you is sacred, fleeting, and powerful beyond words. It’s easy to get lost in the doctor appointments, the body changes, the what-ifs — but you deserve to pause. 2. BOOK YOUR portrait SESSION
A paid session fee and signed booking form are required to secure your session. The session fee covers the time and talent of the Columbus Ohio maternity photographer, as well as full use of the studio, props, and client closet.
Maternity sessions are when you are 29-34 weeks in gestation. We will work together to find a day and time that works best for you. Don’t forget to ask about combined booking of maternity and newborn session to receive $100 off.
3. art prep and session day
A customized maternity session is a luxurious and stress-free experience designed just for you, the expectant mother. It begins with professional hair and makeup, (if you choose to) to help you feel pampered and radiant. Making you feel so confident you are showcasing that beautiful growing belly. You’ll then choose from our curated client closet, featuring a variety of flattering gowns and fabrics that highlight your beautiful bump. Together, we’ll create a session that reflects your unique style and captures this special chapter with elegance and ease.
4. image REVEAL and ordering
Your maternity journey deserves to be celebrated—and the image reveal is where the magic truly happens. During your reveal at my Columbus Ohio portrait studio appointment or over zoom, you’ll see your photographs for the very first time. It’s an emotional and unforgettable moment as you choose only the images you absolutely love.
Once your selections are made, each image is given a final, polished edit. Digital galleries are delivered within two weeks, while custom prints and heirloom albums may take up to three weeks to arrive. Every detail is thoughtfully handled to ensure your memories are beautifully preserve
5. artwork delivery
About two weeks after your reveal and ordering appointment, the moment you’ve been waiting for arrives—Artwork Delivery Day. This is when you finally get to hold your memories in your hands. Whether it’s your heirloom album, custom wall art, or digital collection, everything has been carefully edited and thoughtfully prepared just for you. It’s the final step in your journey, but the beginning of a lifetime of reliving these fleeting moments, beautifully preserved for generations to come.

Every maternity client has full access to my curated client closet — filled with flattering, timeless gowns and soft, flowing fabrics designed to celebrate your changing body. Whether you want something romantic, bold, or ethereal, there’s something for every mama — so you can feel confident, radiant, and completely taken care of.
I know you're tired, and the last thing you want to stress over is doing your own hair and makeup. That’s why I offer professional styling as an optional add-on — so you can show up, breathe, and feel completely taken care of from the moment you walk in. It’s one less thing to worry about… and one more way to celebrate the incredible woman you are.
We reached out to Bethany after looking through several portfolios of recommended photographers in the area. We asked her to capture some family photos for our business at our Farm. She was super flexible to work with our harvest dates and was incredibly accommodating to my very busy and active young boys! Her talent to capture the perfect golden light is unmatched! Whispy Shades was an amazing experience for both maternity and newborn photos. Bethany did a great job capturing our vision and was very accommodating, as we live a good distance away. She offers wardrobe alongside hair/makeup (extra charge). Her hair/makeup person uses Mary Kay. When working with our baby, she was able to not only keep him calm, but also have his personality shine through. She is a baby whisperer! Everyone absolutely loved the photos. They were certainly hard to narrow down because we loved so many.
