One of the most important decisions you can make is who is going to deliver your baby, I was so blessed to be asked by midwife Kathy Mitchell to document a home water birth. I myself have given birth 5 times at home and when I get asked to be in the sacred space with a family, to say the least, I am so honored.
Choosing a midwife to deliver your baby at home is a lot different view than hospital birth. The atmosphere is so calm and caring. Everyone there is there to support you and not rush you. It seems nowadays everyone is in such a huge rush that we get lost in the ability of a woman to birth naturally and with little to no assistance.
Being on the other side of the birthing pool, you really get to see firsthand how amazing a birthing mother is. They have so much power and strength. After the birth, you get so much love and care in the imprinting process. I will never get tired of seeing the power of a birthing woman.
