FOUR GREAT SMALL TOWNS NEAR COLUMBUS OHIO

Having a newborn session with me is an easy drive from Columbus Ohio. I am about 40 miles east. So when planning your Columbus Ohio newborn session, make sure you plan accordingly to arrive on time. I know it can be hectic to gather all your things and leave for possibly the first time since your miracle arrived. But rest assured, I supply everything that we need including diapers and wipes if they are forgotten. The only thing you need to remember for your Columbus Ohio newborn session is your new bundle of joy and some milk to ensure their belly is full! If you are having a different session, perhaps a Columbus Ohio family session, or a Columbus Ohio children’s session, there are a few cute little towns that you could check out on your way home. Just about 15 miles south is Somerset Ohio. This is such an adorable town. It has some awesome restaurants if you need to grab a bite to eat. It also has some historical homes that are so special to look at. I don’t know about you, but I am a sucker for old homes. It is the home of General Sheridan. His statue still stands in the middle of the square. The next town that would be on your way home if you take Old National Road 40, is Jacktown. It is a very small town but had the essentials of gas and a cute little corner restaurant that has amazing grill food. It is about 15 west of the studio.

If you are leaving the studio from a Columbus Ohio family session in the fall, you could hit up a couple of pumpkin patches on the way home. One of my kid’s favorites is on the way to Columbus Ohio. The next town is a little bit East of the studio, it is Zanesville Ohio. It is a larger town with lots to do in the town. It has an unbelievable amount of restaurants, gas stations, malls, and a little bit of everything. Going the opposite way is a larger town Heath/Newark Ohio. There are a lot of things to find in Heath/Newark. It also has movies, gas, groceries, and craft stores(my favorite), it also is the home to an amazing landmark the Indian Mounds. If you are in the area you should check them out. It still babbles in my mind that so long ago they were created. I could go on and on about so many things to do around the area. So if you are planning a Columbus Ohio newborn session, a Columbus Ohio family session, or a Columbus Ohio, children session, plan the day so you could stop by and enjoy some new sights on your way or on the way home!!
